This month of August we are featuring a beautiful fashionable woman of substance who is God-fearing, Ms. Agnes Encarnado of Jagged Treasure.
What’s your KC Holic story?
I have known Sarah from Nursing College days. I am a second-courser and she and my cousin are batchmates. I noticed her first because of her height, how I wish I had her height. Oh and one thing more, she is scoliotic as I am…hehe.. So yeah, we were introduced and she’s quite friendly and “chikadora.” Our “friendship” is more obvious online as we speak more to each other via social websites and spend more time online than personally. That is where I knew about her and her sisters’ online store venture, which is big nowadays – online stores. They sell great clothes and shoes by the way. Not only are they affordable but also of good quality as well. I once eyed a gray, sheer, spaghetti-strapped top that I thought would look great paired with my gray boots and immediately asked Sarj to reserve it for me. And she did! I even asked my boyfie to get it for me ASAP so he can bring it back here in Davao. “Atat-na-atat” lang ang peg. Whose style inspires you?
I don’t have a particular fashion icon I look up to for inspiration actually. I just go for whatever I feel like wearing without a care to what other people may say, nice or otherwise. Lol! As long as I am comfortable and nothing that is supposed to be hidden is hanging out exposed, then I am good. *wink*
What’s your favorite trend this season?
The peplum dresses I guess… I actually don’t own one, but I find them really attractive. I think any body type can pull it off, with the right attitude and charm : )
What song do you currently have on repeat?
My boyfriend’s composed instrumentals and songs, to be honest. And some from my favorite female Christian singers like Britt Nicole, Brooke Fraser, Nichole Nordeman, Bethany Dillon.
What’s your favorite city and why?
I have been to only a few cities here in the Philippines, but my fave would be Davao. I grew up here and the feel of urban and rural living fusing together is just beautiful. One moment you are in the middle of a busy, bustling city, the next you are home in a quiet neighborhood where you can still hear the birds chirping in just a few minutes or hour/s ride or spend a weekend retreat in a white-sand beach resort or a rustic mountain resort. And oh, the fresh air is just amazing. Am I rambling? Should I go on? Haha : )
